Baghdad, April 14 (Rn) – The number of experts in the field of oil and the economy on the need to develop a road map to get rid of the outstanding problems and the separation of the political differences for the economic differences between Baghdad and Erbil.

The former Minister of Planning Mahdi Al-Hafiz at a seminar hosted by the Economic Development Institute in Baghdad, on Saturday, said that “the solution to the problems between Baghdad and Erbil must be done through constructive dialogue,” noting “the need to separate the political differences and economic differences for oil.”

“The economic problems will remain unresolved, as if not separated from the political problems and that the best solution is to adopt the Constitution with respect to the distribution of powers in the management of file-oil.”

And returned the crisis between Baghdad and Erbil to the fore recently against the backdrop of recent decision to stop exporting oil through the Turkish port of Ceyhan due to non-payment of dues of the federal government to foreign companies operating in the region.

He pointed out that the keeper “convulsive attitudes do not work the economic situation in the country and cause major problems at the level of economic development activities and the reality of oil.”

He announced the Kurdistan region in earlier to stop all oil exports from the first beginning of this April to protest non-payment of dues Baghdad to foreign companies operating in the oil region.
