14/06/2012 14:03 ERBIL, June 14 (AKnews) – The head of the Kurdistan Region’s department of foreign relations, Minister Falah Mustafa, yesterday attended the launch of the fifth international forum in Vienna for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Iraq’s Oil Minister Abdul Karim Luaibi and many energy officials and country representatives attended yesterday along with OPEC members.
Head of the forum Luabi gave the opening keynote briefing to the attendees about the progress in oil markets and the effect on increasing and decreasing oil prices.
Attendees are discussing oil and energy industries and economic issues that affect the size of oil and energy production.
The forum is organized every two years and will continue today.
