[Adam Montana] the darn server is giving me issues [Doug_W] Adam Montana NOT just U [Adam Montana] which is going to completely upset my schedule [Adam Montana] so rather than wait till we can get the Q’s from DV (which is currently down) [Adam Montana] I’m just going to chat in here [Adam Montana] we have a few things in the news [Adam Montana] I’ll go through them in no particular order [Adam Montana] first – the budget [Adam Montana] the budget is STILL not approved [Adam Montana] but they are voting on it either tomorrow or next Thursday [Adam Montana] what they are looking for is a removal of topic #25 [Adam Montana] which dealth with the Development Fund [Adam Montana] it shouldn’t be a big deal, but the timing is suspect [Adam Montana] I’ll get to that in a minute [Adam Montana] we have MP Nuseif urging Kuwait to take Maliki’s visit SERIOUSLY. Advising them to consider this one of their last chances to work things out civilly before taking the matters to (basically) a “world court” [Adam Montana] the items to work out are Chapter 7, that Port issue, and the borders. [Adam Montana] All very reasonable requests that should have been attended to long ago, but now the hammer is coming down [Adam Montana] this is a good thing! [Adam Montana] Keep in mind this is happening NOW and they are “supposed” to vote on the Budget by next Thursday [Adam Montana] but the timing of the matter leads us to believe that they could actually vote on it tomorrow [Adam Montana] either way, it will be on a Thursday [Adam Montana] now here’s another big deal [Adam Montana] Reuters reports that the plan to remove the 0′s and introduce new currency denominations by September of this year [Adam Montana] has been adopted, even though the government is balking at the idea [Adam Montana] Several people have stated that this move would hurt the economy, but that’s absolutely silly [Adam Montana] if they introduce new notes and use them side-by-side, there is no change in value [Adam Montana] so it won’t hurt the economy [Adam Montana] so that statement is basically smoke [Adam Montana] the next article that’s out right now that doesn’t make sense [Adam Montana] is found on…. [Adam Montana] Iraq-Business [Adam Montana] it’s a ICB report on the projected GDP [Adam Montana] they are saying they expect the GDP to grow by 9.X% per year over the next 5 years [Adam Montana] not counting the oil sector [Adam Montana] they say including the Oil Sector, the GDP should grow at about 12% per year [Adam Montana] and the numbers they quote are: [Adam Montana][Adam Montana] this is funny [Adam Montana] “we expect the GDP to grow to 360 billion from 170 billion where it currently is” [Adam Montana] once again, my friends… the things coming out of their mouths simply don’t make sense [Adam Montana] even at the “higher” number of 12% growth per year, they won’t make it to 360 by 2015 at that rate [Adam Montana] so, if they are saying the new denominations are going to hurt the economy [Adam Montana] and then turning around and saying that GDP will increase from 170 to 360, but they aren’t telling us where the rest of that growth will come from [Adam Montana] and we ALL know that they’ve said over and over that the Dinar shold be equal to the Dollar and they expect to “increase the value” [Adam Montana] we can’t trust a dang thing they say [Adam Montana] but I do believe that one way or another, we will SEE some movement very soon [Adam Montana] so, that’s my weekly chat. No “secret intel” or anything, just common sense and actual news articles [Adam Montana] if you don’t mind, I am going to check on DV real quick [Adam Montana] then I’ll come back and chat for a few minutes [Adam Montana] and sorry no official Q&A, we can’t get to the Q thread [Adam Montana] I have a separate email server that functions as a backup in case this were to happen when the RV was being announced
