Todd Discussion on The situation in Iraq 7-10-10

Postby American Beauty » Sat Jul 10, 2010 9:59 pm

[jimbob] Todd ok what r thinking is this rv going to happen

[Todd] and this whole Dinar world is like a soap opera…the longer your in it the more drama there is… as in the new stuff coming off of TK’s site

[homedaycare] it is

[Todd] jimbob you know really I don’t know the WHEN…I believe 100% that it will happen but I do not know when

[jimbob] Todd ok this year

[Todd] I would like to say this year but it could be within the next 3 – 12 months. The problem is that there is no checklist. There is no document anywhere that I have seen that states “If Iraq (or any country) completes x-y-z then they will automatically Revalue their currency” in this case Iraq

[homedaycare] and I don’t have 5 yrs to wait

[Todd] It will not be 5 years…I think the Dong could be 5 years

[American Beauty] homedaycare I’ll be in the nut house

[homedaycare] American Beauty i will too

[Todd] I think that Iraq is going to equal or exceed Dubia and Saudi Arabia as far as the oil production and as that comes online, and it already is….the sky is the limit as to what their Dinar is going to be worth eventually

[jimbob] ok i a lot invest i pray and hope it goes soon but like i said earlier the tail is wagging the dog

[Todd] one of the problems I see right now is they have too much money in circulation….I have seen a couple of articles that they are drawing that back in and that will increase the value of the Dinar here is a link to one of them posted in this forum viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2009&p=3069#p3069

[Todd] Chap VII is being worked on as we speak…and I think some of that is already being overlooked so they can import goods that were forbidden before so they get that out of the way draw back in come of the Dinar in circulation and get the damn government at least headed in the right direction I think we will see what we are looking for there are several articles posted on this in the forum
Links: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2734#axzz0sRb31sJy
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3162#axzz0tOmrUdRo

France is seeking to get Iraq out of Chap. VII read on down in the same thread as linked to above

[homedaycare] good

[jimbob] ok all some days I think I’m really stupid for being invested in this today is one of those days

[homedaycare] and i hope it is not held up by the dfi

[homedaycare] jimbob your not stupid, in fact your one of my favorites and I don’t pick stupid ppl to be my favorite

[Todd] it is like buying stock in GE….if there are 10 Million shares worth 5 dollars each ( making these numbers up) and then GE decides to buy back shares in reduces the number of shares out there and increases the value of those shares….that is the same principal I am talking about in drawing back in the Dinar
look at the CIA fact book pages here: https://www.cia.gov/library/publication … rank=82#af

Iraq is #37 at an exchange rate of 1170 – 1 USD
Afghanistan is # 94 at an exchange rate of 45.01- 1 USD
Why is that?….. one reason is the difference in the amount of currency in circulation. I mean Iraq GDP dwarfs Afghanistan’s so that apparently has very little to do with it. Look at GDP comparison here: https://www.cia.gov/library/publication … ank=113#af

Iraq # 64 Iraq 2009 est.
$ 112,000,000,000

Afghanistan #113 2009 est.
$ 23,350,000,000

When Iraq gets their oil production online and running at full capacity they could conceivably jump up in between china at # 3 and Japan at #4 on GDP….What do you think that will do to the value of their currency?
That does not include anything but oil production nothing to do with all of the other natural resources in Iraq.

[Todd] jimbob if you are I am as well man I bought way too much but the reason I did is because I believe 100% that it is going to happen I just do not know when

[American Beauty] jimbob I think it’s a great investment, like I said earlier you don’t pay anyone to invest it for you, you know where it is, it’s just a waiting game

[jimbob] American Beauty I know

[homedaycare] Did you get what I sent you earlier?

[Todd] homedaycare I am still working on it really I got confused reading it and I am going to print it out tomorrow and read it that way and see if I can add it to some of the other documents I have that I have never posted and put it together

[homedaycare] Todd it made my eyes cross then they started spinning

[jimbob] i’m just afraid something bad will happen

[Todd] it is logical…and when something is logical it usually transpires in spite of the idiots that are running Iraq and the rest of the world right now logic prevails and logic states that the IQD will increase in value. It does not however state when.

[jimbob] not just Iraq but Iran

[homedaycare] Iran does scare me too

[Todd] jimbob what I am keeping an eye on at the moment is our joint military exercise with Israel in the Gulf over there and our 4 submarines off the coast of China all that makes me nervous…reminds me of the movie “The Hunt For Red October”…when Fred Thompson states “if one of these idiots makes a wrong move this thing could get ugly and in a hurry” same thing in that part of the world right now it is a chess game and if one nut job like “I’m A Dinner Jacket” (Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) from Iran does something stupid we could be in trouble

[jimbob] Todd cant we all get along

[Todd] I keep posting that stuff in world news and it seems like people do not realize that it is as important as what is actually going on inside Iraq right now here is the link to one of those threads in the forum: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=2497#axzz0tOrXAMY6
and another: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2290#ixzz0rPbJVWl8

[American Beauty] No we can’t, that’s the biggest problem is people don’t seem to understand that it’s not human nature to get along and be happy

[homedaycare] American Beauty very true

[Todd] it was strange that when Biden was in Iraq the Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was at the White House….after getting snubbed a couple of times in the last year all of a sudden “O” decides to treat him with the respect he deserves….there is a reason for that Link: http://www.jpost.com/Home/Article.aspx?id=180618

[homedaycare] Todd what is the reason

[Todd] and the UAE stating that the “World cannot live with a Nuclear Iran”….very interesting
Link: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=3022#axzz0tOvdWNVz

[American Beauty] Here’s the key money isn’t ever the real issue it’s power, and there’s more to power then just money, money is the benefit to power that is why Alliwi and Maliki will not give up

[Todd] Maliki was the first to show up at that Clerics funeral in BEIRUT – Iraq’s prime minister paid his respects to Lebanon’s late top Shiite cleric during a brief visit to Beirut Thursday.

Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah was one of the founders of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s Dawa party. The revered cleric was also believed to be the party’s religious guide until his death on Sunday following a long illness.
That cleric is listed as a known terrorist by all the western countries…I think Obama and the US were trying to assure Israel that they were doing everything they could to make Maliki go away

[Todd] here is a thread on it I have in the forum: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3067#axzz0t79FZJai

[Todd] BEIRUT – Iraq’s prime minister paid his respects to Lebanon’s late top Shiite cleric during a brief visit to Beirut Thursday. Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah was one of the founders of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s Dawa party. The revered cleric was also believed to be the party’s religious guide until his death on Sunday following a long illness.

[Todd] This is one of the founding fathers of Maliki’s party in Iraq

[Todd] and he is a terrorist

[jimbob] Todd ok heard big “E” chat i have no freakin idea what the hell he said

[homedaycare] i did read that

[Todd] and CNN fired a Editor that praised the man

[Todd] WASHINGTON (Reuters) – CNN has fired a senior editor for Middle East news after she published a Twitter message that said she respected a Lebanese Shi’ite cleric branded a terrorist by the United States, U.S. and British media said on Thursday. The Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah, one of Shi’ite Islam’s highest religious authorities and an early mentor of the militant group Hezbollah, died in Beirut on Sunday.

[Todd] and he is a founder of Hizbullah

[Todd] Since then Hizbullah has come up with a new manifesto in Dec 1, 2009 which shifts its direction to better stay coherent with the current situation in their community(Lebanese society). This new manifesto contains language that downplays the Islamic rhetoric and focuses more on integration into their community. Furthermore, the new manifesto calls for the elimination of the sectarian system in place right now in Lebanon and calls replacement of this system by a secular modern system. However , the new manifesto states that the US and Israel are still Hezbullah’s prime enemies . Moreover ,it eliminates the possibility of open discussion on its right to bear arms.

[Todd] here is the link to that thread read the whole thread: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3067#axzz0t79FZJai

[American Beauty] All this does play a role in the formation of Iraq’s government, but that is why there is no black and white answer to the “When?”

[Todd] and Hizbullah wants to Kill Americans and Christians and Jews

[Todd] and Maliki is front and center at his funeral?????

[Todd] how in the Hell can the United states let this Maliki be the PM of Iraq again and not piss off Iran….well we are bidding time on the Iran front

[homedaycare] Todd how long before US goes head to head with Iran

[Todd] we and the Israelis have plans to take out Iran’s nuclear capabilities but if we do it now all hell breaks loose…if we can get someone ….anyone but Maliki into the PM Seat in Iraq then we can take care of it and all this is going on as we speak

[jimbob] Todd I thought Alawi is PM

[Todd] jimbob not yet

[Todd] I think we need to see them get out of Chap VII and the UN and other countries are working on helping them to accomplish it at this time. Where as before some were causing problems. It will happen in time….

[Todd] Tuesday the 13th is the next Paraliment date in Iraq perhaps we will find out more then

[Todd] I post about 50+ articles in this forum everyday and I have a top ten that when I think something is important I post it in there. I do not deal in rumor I deal in fact and a little of my interpretation of these articles but they are all there for everyone to read. I would love for members to post their opinions of what they think these articles mean to them and that will benefit us all. We only have one rule here and it is “Be Respectful” so if you are afraid of someone bashing you for your opinion , don’t be, it will not happen more than once. We are all in this with the same goal and your opinion would probably help us…… if you don’t agree with my opinion that is great I would love to debate it and I would hope that you prove me wrong on some things it is all about education and that is how I learn

Sale price $50,000. (Money to be made over there)

A rate exists in the IMF paperwork – If that doesn’t mean RV I can’t imagine what does.

Date still no later than the end of October. Hopefully the government gets formed soon as that will speed up everything.

* American Contractor: Word on the Street… No Quorum

ALL,

The word on Baghdad streets is that certain political blocs will not be attending the 13 July 2010 Parliament meeting as planned (no quorum).  This is not good when attempting to follow the Iraq constitution. We will keep watching this and see what develops.   — American Contractor

MED says to (02:17:27):
HEY ALL
BEEN IN THE FORUMS
WHAT A NIGHTMARE THESE LAST FEW DAYS WILL BE
I LOVE POLITICS
BUT THIS STUFF OVER THERE
IS NOT AS ORGANIZED AS PICKING THE STUDENT BODY IN A HS
YES IT IS
THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE
AS USUAL IS FILLING THE WEB WITH BS
ONE STATEMENT AFTER ANOTHER
IF THEY REALLY DID MAKE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE RULE OF LAW AGAINST MALIKI’S WISHES
IT WILL FAIL
THIS WILL BE VERY UGLY

GiGi says to (02:21:49):
try to sift through most of the junk, one article called Allawi a 2nd Sadam

MED says to (02:21:59):
THEY DID
HMMMM
THEY NEED TO WATCH OUT
BECAUSE IF IT GOES THE WAY THE LIST WANTS IT TO
HE WILL GET THE PM POSITION
AND ALLAWI WILL BE HEAD OF A COUNCIL THAT OVERSEAS HIM
NOW ONE THING THAT IS FUNNY
THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE SAID THEY SETTLED THE PM NOMINATION
IF THEY DID
WHO IS IT
I THINK THEY WOULD ANNOUNCE IT
EVEN IF IT WAS GIVEN ANONYMOUSLY
NO ONE SAID WHO IT WAS
AND I CANNOT SEE THE RULE OF LAW NEGOTIATING WITH THE INA AND SADRISTS WITHOUT MALIKI’S APPROVAL
HE REFUSED TO ATTEND
AND WAS VERY UPSET
NOW HE CAN SPLIT HIS COALITION
AND TAKE THOSE WHO ARE LOYAL TO HIM TO THE IRAQI LIST
THAT WOULD KILL THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE
NOW THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE HAS GIVEN LIKE 20 MEDIA STATEMENTS IN THE LAST 24HRS
AND EVERYONE IS CONTRADICTORY TO THE OTHER
NOW IF THEY DID MAKE AN AGREEMENT AND ARE GOING TO PARLIAMENT THINKING THEY ARE THE BIGGEST BLOC
I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE
THE IRAQI LIST WILL NOT BE THERE
AND THIS WILL KILL THE FORMING OF ANY GOVT
IT WILL BE CHAOTIC
AND NO QUORUM WILL BE THERE TO SETTLE ANYTHING
THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE SAID THEY WANT ALL TO BE INVOLVED
BUT IN THE LAST ARTICLE I JUST READ
THEY ARE NOT INCLUDING THEM AT ALL IN ANYTHING
ALL THREE PRESIDENCIES ARE GOING TO THE INA, RULE OF LAW AND THE KURDISTAN ALLIANCE
THIS IS NOT GOOD
IT IS AN INSULT TO THE BLOC WHO WON THE ELECTIONS
AND IT WILL BE VERY UGLY
WE THOUGHT MALIKI AND THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE DRAGGED THINGS OUT FOR MONTHS
THIS COULD GO INTO THE FALL
IF THEY TRY TO DISREGARD THE LIST
THIS IS ALL JUST MY OPINION BASED ON ALL THE INFO THAT HAS BEEN ON THE WEB
NOW WE SHALL SEE WHAT IS COMING OUT IN THE NEXT FEW HRS
BUT PROBABLY MONDAY WILL BE THE DO OR DIE ON THIS

chloe says to (02:31:15):
is iran in the background manipulating?

MED says to (02:31:29):
THEY CERTAINLY ARE
THEY ARE MEETING IRAQI LEADERS IN TURKEY
TO GIVE THEIR OPINION ON THE NEW GOVT AND WHAT THEY WANT
THIS IS BS
AND I CAN’T BELIEVE WE ARE STANDING STILL ON THIS

chloe says to (02:32:13):
i don’t see the usa allowing this to progress

MED says to (02:32:18):
IF I WERE BIDEN I WOULD BE BACK ON THE PLANE
AND I WOULD WALK OFF THE PLANE WITH A BIG STICK
OVER HIS SHOULDER
MALIKI IS DOING WHAT BIDEN SAID
BUT HE WAS BETRAYED BY HIS OWN DAWA PARTY
OR SO IT SEEMS

chloe says to (02:33:20):
have they really gone over do you think or is this bs propaganda

MED says to (02:33:28):
THIS COULD EASILY BE PROPAGANDA

chloe says to (02:33:55):
there is no one strong enough to carry this off in the shia

MED says to (02:34:01):
THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE AS WE KNOW HAS PUT OUT STATEMENT AFTER STATEMENT LIKE THIS FOR MONTHS
AND WHAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED
NOTHING

chloe says to (02:34:17):
jaafari, no mahdi no!

MED says to (02:34:23):
AND ALLAWI HAS ALWAYS KEPT IT LOW KEY

chloe says to (02:34:25):
weak

MED says to (02:34:29):
YES THEY ARE
I FIND IT SO ODD
THAT IN A COUNTRY WHERE A BLOC LIKE OUR POLITICAL PARTIES
CAN WIN AN ELECTION
AND CAN’T GET A CHANCE TO FORM THE GOVT
IT IS JUST AMAZINGLY RIDICULOUS

chloe says to (02:35:41):
maybe they are hoping we will pull out and leave it to them

MED says to (02:36:03):
IF WE PULL OUT AND LEAVE THEM TO THEMSELVES
IRAQ WILL FALL
IT WILL TURN INTO THE QUAGMIRE WE FEAR IT WILL BE
A DICTATOR WILL EMERGE
WHO IS PRO IRANIAN
AND THIS WILL UPSET THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST
THEY WILL SCREW OVER ALL THE FOREIGN COMPANIES

angel42b says to (02:40:10):
I just cant believe the USA and UN hasn’t done more to clear this up

MED says to (02:41:02):
THEY SAID THEY WOULD IF MALIKI IS NOMINATED
NOTHING REALLY HAPPENED COOL
JUST A GAZILLION CONTRADICTORY STATEMENTS
BY THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE

chloe says to (02:41:49):
I believe this is a desperate bluff

MED says to (02:41:56):
I TEND TO AGREE

chloe says to (02:42:10):
makes them bigger fools than ever

MED says to (02:42:23):
WELL THAT IS GOING TO BE HARD TO DO
THEY ARE PRETTY BIG TO ME NOW
WE SHOULD HAVE NEVER TURNED THIS COUNTRY BACK OVER UNTIL MOST OF THESE OLD POLITICIANS WERE IN NURSING HOMES
AND WAITED UNTIL THE NEXT GENERATION WAS EDUCATED
AND GIVEN THEM THE CHANCE
IRAQ COULD HAVE BEEN REBUILT BY US
AND US USING REVENUES FROM THE OIL
TO REBUILD IT
AND US GETTING GAS FOR .60 CENTS A GALLON AGAIN

chloe says to (02:45:22):
there is no way no way that the world can allow Iran to be the major influence in iraq

MED says to (02:45:31):
NO WE CAN’T
AND I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY TURKEY
WHO IS AN ALLIE OF THE U.S.
WOULD ALLOW THOSE DEUCHE BAGS INTO TURKEY
I AM JUST MIFFED

chloe says to (02:46:09):
even if we don’t want this, we will have to deal with it.
or Israel will
that we don’t want

MED says to (02:46:47):
THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE ONLY THING WE WILL LET ISRAEL DO
IS PROTECT THEMSELVES IF THEY ARE ATTACKED
OTHERWISE IT WILL TURN INTO A MAJOR CONFLICT
THEY ARE ALREADY BLAMED FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES ON IN THE MIDDLE EAST
BUT WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS ENTIRE ISRAEL THING IS
AL THOSE MILLIONS OF ARABS AND MUSLIMS IN THE MIDDLE EAST
ALL SURROUNDING ISRAEL
AND THEY CAN’T DO SQUAT ABOUT THEM
ISRAEL IS THE MAJOR MILITARY POWER IN ALL THE MIDDLE EAST
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT
AND ALL THE OTHERS CAN DO IS COMPLAIN IN THE MEDIA
ANY MILITARY CONFRONTATION WILL ONLY ALLOW ISRAEL MORE LAND TO BUILD HOUSING ON
THEY ARE JUST TOO DEVASTATING
THEY ARE SOME SERIOUS FIGHTERS

chloe says to (02:50:24):
these toothless old men in the national alliance live in a dream world

MED says to (02:50:31):
YES THEY DO
WELL STILL NO AUCTION

chloe says to (02:51:21):
I think they are blowing smoke. heck they can’t even agree on a candidate

MED says to (02:51:33):
NO THEY HAVEN’T
BUT NOW THEY SAID THEY DID
ON A COMPROMISE
I WILL BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT

chloe says to (02:51:54):
yes but they said that before

MED says to (02:52:00):
THEY SURE DID
OVER AND OVER
NEWS WILL BE OUT PRETTY SOON ON SOME OF THE EARLY MORNING NEWS AGENCIES
WELL I AM GOING TO HEAD
I WILL BE AROUND
BUT IN THE FORUMS
IF ANYTHING COMES UP OF VALUE
I WILL BE BACK ON

OK ALL DONE

* Maliki is very upset and manipulation of the block

(independent) Sources,

(Ur): National reluctant to put forward a candidate and it tends to provide a compromise candidate
Iraq News | 10-07-2010

Marathon negotiations may lead to (Caesarean section) for the new government
BAGHDAD / Orr News

Interwoven threads in the Iraqi scene, and the confused course of negotiations, by the struggle for power, money and domination, war heats up messages (mined) between the political parties even when they are debating at the same table.

Political movement in the Iraqi scene, which began immediately after the end of the visit of Imam Musa Kadhim (AS), in a meeting held today, a number of leaders of the Islamic Dawa Party, the absence of party leader Nuri al-Maliki, according to sources close to the national alliance.

The sources, who preferred to remain anonymous told (Ur) that the Prime Minister’s outgoing Nuri al-Maliki, who did not attend the meeting, was very upset because of the meeting, after learning that the mass independent and independent of the coalition of the rule of law suggested putting an alternative candidate for the owners to avoid laxity National Alliance.

The sources indicated that the visit of U.S. Vice President Biden, Iraq, came the results of the counter to U.S. desires, embodied by the message of Congress to the owners, adding that Iran has forced the weight and power to influence the political process towards the maintenance of the National Alliance, even if it is being sacrificed Maliki, according to sources.

Sources and demonstrated that leadership in the State of remarks by Congressman Hassan Sinead, which he said that the State law can not neglect the National Alliance or permit Ptvkkh, indicating that it will go to the next session of parliament within the coalition that collections with the National Coalition.

According to the same sources, the (independent) and independents in the coalition, the rule of law, are determined to nominate a replacement for Maliki to be prime minister, as sources believe that they have three options: (d. Hussain al-Shahristani and Shirwan Waeli and clarity of net debt). These options, according to informed sources for (Ur) must have the consensus and national consensus.

The talks between the “state of law” and “National Coalition” has been completed the status of compliance on a share of 80% determine the candidate for prime minister if he had obtained them from among the candidates (Nuri al-Maliki, Adil Abdul-Mahdi, and Ibrahim al-Jaafari) during the voting process underway between the number of representatives of the two blocs on those candidates. However, the compatibility of this station has become “a thing of the past” after being informed of the National Coalition of law by refusing to nominate al-Maliki for a second term.

Signalling Rahim Al Shammari, a media adviser in the office of president of a coalition of Iraq, Iyad Allawi, said a meeting a very important place on Saturday between the Iraqi and the rule of law, pointing out that these meetings is intended to “end the development of infrastructure for the Iraqi government coming,” the sources close to the National Coalition is determined to report his position rejecting the renewal of the owners, a formal list, “Iraq,” which means that Iyad Allawi would find that a negotiator to Mahad Wing, which will increase its commitment to run for prime minister, as it deems observers.

Until this moment, the National Coalition unwilling to put forward a candidate for any post of prime minister, a move seen by observers, are intended to deliver the rule of law to the fears of surprises may carry an independent candidate from the womb of the National Coalition (if it was to provide an alternative for al-Maliki in his party), particularly that there is almost ruled out a political consensus to reach an agreement between Allawi and Maliki.

Commented sources close to the National Alliance, by saying, that all the indicators that touched or reached during the past few days that the National Coalition past towards the provision of a compromise candidate was supported by a national, stressing both the Sadrists and the Supreme Council is clinging Bmarchehma (Ibrahim al-Jaafari and Adel Abdul-Mahdi).

This step is the sign preceded by meetings of shuttling between the poles of the National Coalition itself, especially among members of the Sadrists and the Supreme Islamic Council, the sources said it resulted in an agreement as referring to a candidate settlement of technocrats, as previously these positions a series of meetings between the leaders of the National Coalition and their counterparts from the Kurdistan Alliance, some took place in Cairo between Abdul-Mahdi and Massoud Barzani, followed by a gathering, yesterday, both President Jalal Talabani, and Abdul-Mahdi, and Ammar al-Hakim.

In a new war, political messages, denied the deputies of the coalition and Iraqi rule of law Knowing that there is any message focused on the peaceful transfer of power sent by the Iraqi rule of law as long as negotiations are continuing between the parties.

The denials Commenting on what the Iraqi spokesman for the Coalition Haider Mulla (Friday), the rule of law that the coalition asked to list a deadline to respond to the message focused on the peaceful transfer of power.

The leadership of the coalition of Iraq’s Hussein al-Shaalan said, “If our meetings and discussions are continuing with the rule of law, why send a message to them,” he said, adding, “We have a meeting with the negotiating team during these days and has become the visions clearer than previous days,” and expressed his belief that during the few days will have a more accurate perception of the course of things, as he put it.

Meanwhile, member of a coalition of law Izzat Shabandar “There are not any message from the Iraqi List to the rule of law, and we have no knowledge of the existence of such a message,” afterthought that “there are direct negotiations between the parties.”

But he said his coalition and Iraqi coalition have never gone so far in their discussions to the positions of sovereignty, adding that negotiators were preparing for the standards and requirements of appropriate national and measurements.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Kurdistan Alliance is waiting to learn the nominee who will occupy the position of Iraq’s prime minister in order to start actual negotiations about the government’s program and work mechanisms.

* Milndollarbabe Chat: Currency Chatter 7/10/10

[milndollarbabe] it is the DFI FUND…..they are moving it from the auspices of the chapter 7….and setting it up under a new umbrella within the UN….this allows for the 7 to be lifted …which lifts economic sanctions in iraq…BUT….by renaming and moving the DFI under a new umbrella…the funds are still protected against law suits…its a win/win for iraq and thusly allows them to be able to rv once this is done….then the IMF can grant iraq art 8 membership status to make their currency convertible

[milndollarbabe] ok heres some more detail

[milndollarbabe] this fund has been delayed 2 times already

[milndollarbabe] it was supposed to end in 2009

[milndollarbabe] i believe that chapter 7 has to be lifted first ..iraq found themselves in a quandry…because of the DFI funds needing to be protected….they didnt want to risk lifting 7 without this protection…..so i think 7 comes first ….but they can do it now ….once the funds are trasferred under a new entity…..then rv. ..then 8 [milndollarbabe] rodman i dont do dates….i look for benchmarks

[milndollarbabe] but it was extended one more time until the end of this year to be reviewed this june

[milndollarbabe] ok each time in years past i was concerned becaused of these extensions

[milndollarbabe] i thought it meant delay of our beloved rv

[milndollarbabe] which i still think

[milndollarbabe] i have always been one who thought the 7 came first

[milndollarbabe] 7 states that iraq is under economic as wellas military sanctions

[milndollarbabe] so dfi are sanctioned monies

[milndollarbabe] these monies need protection from lawsuits

[milndollarbabe] so if 7 is lifted and sanctions are gone these monies lose their protection

[milndollarbabe] so what do they need to do?

[milndollarbabe] figure out a solution

[milndollarbabe] so what theyve done is this

[milndollarbabe] they are renaming the fund

[milndollarbabe] with this is will go under a new umbrella within the un

[milndollarbabe] this will allow for the resolution of 7 to be lifted ]

[milndollarbabe] but then the funds are moved and can be protected

[milndollarbabe] its a win /win

[milndollarbabe] so with this they can finally get there economic sanctions on them lifted

[milndollarbabe] and rv

[milndollarbabe] think about this

[milndollarbabe] maliki has proven that he will and would do anything to get reelected?

[milndollarbabe] he also has been asking for the release of 7 for over a year

[milndollarbabe] don’t you think that if he had the ability to rv before the elections he would have …given his current state of mind ?

[milndollarbabe] i don’t believe he could do it

[milndollarbabe] the sanctions of chapter 7 were in place long before the SFA agreem DONE

* Enorrste & TerryK Chat: Currency Chatter 7/10/10

[enorrste] I have decided to come on as well as Gankans in order to clear up a lot of confusion about what is happening
[enorrste] most of you have been under the impression that you know what it going on
[enorrste] but have been misled, unfortunately
[enorrste] over an incident that did not need to happen,
[enorrste] but did happen
[enorrste] but did happen
[enorrste] As you all know, TK, G, and I have tried very hard to present to you the very best information that we can
[enorrste] The other night, 2 nights ago I believe
[enorrste] TK and I received intel that was extremely sensitive
[enorrste] Some of the details have come out since
[enorrste] but here is the bottom line: TK and I made a promise to the person who provided the information that we would not reveal it
[enorrste] or the reason for it
[enorrste] but immediately after TK and I received this info, TK came on the site and asked that we “step down” for a few days
[enorrste] he did this as a direct favor to a source
[enorrste] and for no other reason whatsoever
[enorrste] this was not a power play on his part, but was instead a response to a personal favor from someone
[enorrste] Now, as you may have heard, this favor was also asked of some other sites as well
[enorrste] including, as I understand it, ****** and Frank; but I have no direct knowledge of that myself
[enorrste] In any case, TK did what he was asked, simply put, and has remained silent since then, as I have
[enorrste] in deference to the source of the information, which has still not been revealed in total
[enorrste] Since then it has come out that Ali of Dinar Trade has asked for the same “silence” for a few days.
[enorrste] Have you all seen that?
[enorrste] So, here is my problem………….
[enorrste] I am so reluctant to get even remotely negative here
[enorrste] but I am deeply frustrated
[enorrste] as is Gankans
[enorrste] Today I had a long conversation with Cash
[enorrste] he was “out of the loop” on what was being done, to our fault
[enorrste] even though he had access to what we did through the very same channels
[enorrste] still, he is a very busy man, and missed it; IT HAPPENS
[enorrste] and, by his own admission to me this afternoon, he overreacted
[enorrste] he will speak for himself on that, or not
[enorrste] but in any case I will say this:
[enorrste] TK did exactly what he was asked to do
