Good evening Family,
So tell me Joe ……..what do you know? You and four senators decided to pay the GOI a so called surprise visit? What do you think Family……..was it a surprise visit? Saturday morning I greeted you and gave you some homework on my thread. I told you to look for B and some senators to be arriving. It didn’t even take an hour and the articles came out one after another. You looked like kids finding golden eggs on an Easter hunt. I had fun with all of you. So tell us Joe ………what does the GOI now know? Did you motivate them to seat their government or did you threaten them by removing our presence and 2 billion that we send every day to them? Did you show them the way to activate their 2010 GOI budget or did you show them that others might do it for them? Family what B and some senators did this weekend was a calculated move at a calculated time. There are many documents that are needed in the daylight……not hidden from the world. The 2010 budget…….the NDP………and I would willingly say that even within the SFA/SOFA documents lies the RI rate. We are in the second part of this year and these valuable documents are being handled as if they were factious. They boldly talk about them but SQUAT can be done by the GOI until it decides to SQUAT and sit their leaders down to make governmental decisions! For over 6 months now they have maintained a level of secrecy on the rate that they want to use for 2010. Reminds me of a bookie that carefully guards his numbers in that little black book of his. Family I am going to post for today but I will concentrate on God’s teachings from Tuesday to Thursday. IMO ……there is no need for me to repeat what I am going to share with you today for the rest of the week. No matter what I say or think …….nothing will happen until they actually do #3 of my 1…..2……….3. Now do you understand why 3 was distanced from 1 and 2? Remember how 1 and 2 happened back to back? Before I start……..just a quick note to some negative people. I am not God nor am I Jesus so kindly stop insulting my faith by saying that I proclaim to be. That’s nasty. Criticizing me is one thing ………mocking my Father or using His Words to attack me is a bad idea. Now let’s get to work.

The very first thing I need for you to do Family is to go back with me to around the 15th of June. Remember we were excited because the UN had received the second report from the GOI/CBI and we felt that if they had met all of the CH7 requirements that it was possible to be lifted. Then the report comes in and surprise surprise……….it was nothing more than a duplicate of the first quarter report for this year. I said it was like handing in your freshman exam papers as proof for your thesis at a doctorate level. Somebody was cheating but I was interested in knowing who that somebody was. All of a sudden we have a NEW quarterly calendar that comes out saying this second quarterly report is actually not due until July 1st. Okay …….I sure would like to know who bought them two weeks. You see if all goes well not only do they get CH7 lifted…….but remember when I told you that which supports the RI was frozen by CH7? Well they get those funds unfrozen as well. But once again I ask the question ……who gave them this extra time? If it’s the authors of The Plan…….cool. But if the GOI is dictating the policy of The Plan ……..then that would not be very encouraging. But I am encouraged every day with my intel knowledge that we ARE in control……..and so are the Kurds.

I hope this is all coming back to you Family. If you recall it was BAMABREEZE that helped me with these dates back in June. So the falsified ……..hmm……..that’s too strong a word…….so the garbage that the GOI handed in for its second quarterly report did not sit well with The Plan. B and his entourage show up this weekend with a stern look on their faces. Excuse me GOI for stopping by but I just wanted to return the rubbish you sent to us last month. Can you kindly fill in the blanks with the right information this time? We also brought along Richard Simmons to show you the proper way to squat. And ……..a 1……2……….3 seat! Family……..it is highly possible that B and his team not only picked up the second quarterly report in tact with this visit basically pulling teeth to get it……but one more thing too. IMO one should not spare the rod ……..especially since they have taken the spoils like a child. Besides a stern face I hope they showed them Sampson eyes.

The other report was about more money……..IAMB. (RAIDER1 this is the mix that will create the liquid fire we talked about…….lava. ) So as the plane waited for these documents on the 1st of July ……leaders boarded (some authors) to leave on the 2nd of July in the still of a very early morning to visit the GOI. Then on the 3rd of July Joe who didn’t know shows up ………that was Saturday. Sunday on the 4th there were no fireworks for us because even though there was a party by the GOI to celebrate the NDP …….no rates were disclosed. Oh sure they told us about their 5 year plan to rebuild Iraq and please keep in mind that it will be miraculously accomplished at a rate of 1170. Why didn’t they tell us that the NDP was calculated at 1170…….nothing wrong with admitting it. No shame right? They mentioned NO rate. None of our business…….still. Today is Monday, July 5th and the authors at the UN are on holiday. On the 6th the UN will be addressing some of Iraq’s complaints. But I am not done talking about July so let’s keep going.

The 15th of July is now when the UNSC will once again try to give Iraq CH7 if they have earned it. To squat or not to squat…..that is the question. Because when the 15th comes along …..and if the GOI is still frozen it becomes a violation of their constitution. There constitution said that after June the 15th they only had 30 days to seat their government. We may have missed our 4th of July but guess what the 14th of July is for Iraq? Their independence day. Maybe we can still have our fireworks. On the 12th of July the UNSC will be looking at Iraq’s DFI/IAMB so IMO…….CH7 can be lifted between the 12th and the 15th. If they squatted. I’ve often wondered if CH7 has not been lifted so as to use it as a weapon against M. I know I know…….M is the reason why we don’t have CH7 lifted. But as hard as it may appear we are in control and maybe CH7 will be given to the GOI when they squat and ……..remove M. I don’t believe that will happen ……M is a survivor. Therefore I believe he will always be in the shadows of the GOI or in the shadows of the UN’s mind. M has hurt his OWN country these last 7 years! I thought we went there to remove such ugliness but nasty habits in the GOI appear to have been the real ……..WMD. Some in the GOI allow me to understand why streets need sewers. There is nothing secret about secret prisons. No matter how long evil tries to dominate the truth eventually kills it.

Well Biden should be on his way back home by the time you read this. We will learn this week if he got the GOI to squat or if we ended up with squat. If he did then I would be forced to say ………well whadda you know Joe………you did it. I wish he had the authority to tell them that the second loans that are coming to them from the IMF could accidentally not show up. That would be nice to throw a little mustard in all the smoked ham they have given us. Sampson eyes to get it done. This money will run their country and the oil output along with the DFI/IAMB should more than back up the RI the moment the UNSC hands the GOI CH7. All of this money can actually be channeled into the infrastructure of Iraq’s growth and not M’s fat gluteus maximum. Gives a new meaning to Maximus Prime…….LOL.

So once again we seem to be narrowing our next window of opportunity in the vicinity of the 12th to the 15th of July. At the end of July the UN will be dealing with the UNAMI mandate. Then in August it will be on holiday for ¾ of the month. September and October have Ramadan and EID. As I said before maybe they will give us the last 30 to 60 days to exchange. As we know they have declared before the end of 2010 to lift the 000’s. Let me ask you Family……when does the GOI’s 2010 fiscal year come to an end? Ahh………there go the light bulbs. You can figure this part out on your own. Have fun.

Well it looks like I am still waiting for the finalization of 1….2………3. According to the article below they will tell us who their leaders will be this week. Once again these keystone cop buffoons have waited until the very last nano second to do or to be pushed into doing the logical thing. Of course they will tell us the name of their parliament members this week because next week has the time frame that contains the 12th to the 15th.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Former Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari has joined the leadership authority of the National Coalition, which includes 18 members, a well-informed source said Friday, noting that the nominee for the prime minister post will be announced this week.

“The leader of the Iraqi National Alliance (INA) and Sadrist bloc’s nominee for the premiership, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, had joined the leadership authority of the National Coalition (159 out of the 325-seat parliament),” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, asserting that this will not affect its status as a Sadrist nominee.

“The authority will choose its nominee for the prime minister post this week,” he added, without giving further details.

I can take insults and I do because I am pasted everywhere. It’s really sad when my postings at www.ktfmissions.com are copied elsewhere but not in their entirety setting off confusing and derogatory remarks. I am not angered just saddened for those left confused. Yesterday I told you that FOX was going to tear into O…….then FOX out foxed me. Yes this show has been rumored before in fact FOX tore into O about his immigration policy this morning. Thanks to SLEEPER43 we learned about this. Then there is the Hannity report on FOX that will talk about “Generation Zero…….what 40 years of liberal policy has done to America”. Yes I was wrong about last night and with these two reports from today…….do you still feel like saying that FOX tricked me? Try not to let my intel whether correct or wrong……..move you to extreme levels of anxiety. It’s no big deal………I will be wrong with my intel again…….it’s not an exact science. Take it or leave it but try your best to consider how you approach me with your postings. I offer nothing but kindness and respect and do not expect it in return. Simply hope for the evidence of things not seen.

I will be with you tomorrow but with no posting on our investment. Why should I repeat myself and bore 6. Why should I let one or two forums laugh at the length of my postings? So easy to criticize when you offer squat. Oh there’s that word again. You all hang in there Family. Try to remember when you give 100%……..you are only half ways there. We are all born for the reason to find out why. I learned a few years ago that I was born to make people smile. To feed you if you are hungry. To love you if you are lonely. Tomorrow I take you on a life lesson that devastated me when I was 14 years old. It is my way of sharing what God has taught me and a cup of tea with you. If I could be remembered for anything …..let it be that I always asked you to be in constant prayer. May we pray for each other …….our planet………our leaders………and that the GOI can learn to sit down like proper ladies and gentlemen that are proud of their nation and her people. That they can move forward and make the right decisions for their future. BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Vice President Joe Biden ended a visit to Iraq on Monday without presenting any plan to nudge the country’s leaders toward forming a government, four months after an election.

Biden made no proposals in talks with incumbent Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, top vote winner and ex-premier Iyad Allawi, and others, causing disappointment among those who had hoped his visit might help to end the post-election deadlock.

No one won the March 7 ballot outright, leading to prolonged political jostling. Coalition talks could still last several more months, exposing Iraq to a risky vacuum as it emerges from sectarian war but struggles to contain a stubborn insurgency.

Some Sunni politicians in Iraq have accused the United States of not doing enough to support the right of Allawi’s cross-sectarian Iraqiya bloc to form the government.

They also suspect neighboring Iran wants a Shi’ite-led government that would continue to sideline the minority Sunnis who dominated Iraq before the fall of dictator Saddam Hussein.

“There is no clear support for Iraqiya and there is no favoring one party over the other. They stayed in the middle,” said Osama al-Nujaifi, a senior Sunni leader in Iraqiya.

“They talked about electoral rights and respecting the election results … (but) stayed away from the main sensitive issues,” he said after Biden met Allawi.

The U.S. military’s plans to end combat operations in August and withdraw completely next year have raised anxiety among those Sunnis, and also minority Kurds, who see the U.S. forces as a bulwark against majority Shi’ites.

The fragility of security gains was evident on Sunday night when mortar rounds fell on Baghdad’s Green Zone government and diplomatic enclave, where the U.S. embassy is located. No one was injured and no damage caused, U.S. officials said.

On Monday, another mortar round exploded in the area, Iraqi police sources said.

Both Allawi’s Iraqiya and a Shi’ite bloc formed from a merger between Maliki’s State of Law and the Iran-friendly Iraqi National Alliance claim the right to have a first stab at forming the government.

Biden, appointed by President Barack Obama to take the lead on Iraq issues, met Maliki and Allawi on Sunday.

On Monday he met Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, a Kurd, and Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Iranian-backed Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (ISCI). ISCI is part of the INA, which finished third in the election, behind State of Law and Iraqiya.

Biden declined to talk to the media at the end of his visit.

The vice president and other U.S. officials stressed over the three-day visit that the United States “has no hidden agenda” in Iraq and no favorite candidate.

“There was no discussion of individuals, there was no discussion of who gets what job, again there was no discussion of an American plan for Iraq because there isn’t one,” said a senior U.S. administration official traveling with Biden.

Iraqis had hoped the election would lead to stability and economic recovery seven years after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion. Sunnis, who voted overwhelmingly for Iraqiya, could react angrily if Allawi is not appointed as prime minister.

“The United States is able to paralyze the work of any Iraqi government that is formed against its wishes. It will not turn its back totally on Iraq,” said analyst Ibrahim al-Sumaidaie.

“But I think it is impossible that Iraq remains their first priority … The war in Afghanistan is taking more attention from the U.S. administration and the economic crisis is still affecting them.”

(with photos) BAGHDAD, July 5 (KUNA) — Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki said on Monday that a government representing one political party cannot be formed in the country.

The premier, speaking during a meeting with a visiting US delegation including congressmen namely senator Robert Casey, said all political groups and trends should be involved in the line-up of the aspired government. “This is a tough mission however it is one of the aspects of democracy,” he said.

He affirmed that efforts are being continuously exerted for the formation of a new cabinet representing all communities and parites “within a national framework, however difficulties have appeared due to regional intervention.”

Al-Maliki affirmed that the current government continued to perform with full jurisdictions and this situation would be maintained till the formation of a new one, “a new government of partnership comprising all and not a single party.

“We have been always keen on ensuring that our acts be constitutional, contrary to the era of the dictator who used to write the law and change it according to his personal desires, but today we do not allow the breaching of the constitution.” He was alluding to the rule of the executed dictator Saddam Hussein who had ruled the Iraqis with an iron-fist regime for many years.

The premier assured the American guests that the national armed forces became capable of maintaining the rule of the law and expressed desire to promote the cooperation with Washington in various spheres.

Formation of a new cabinet has been snagged due to disgareements among the influential political groups.

I cannot share the info that I and several others were told about the valuation. but bofa has the rate and it is frozen by the US Treasury and not yet has it been released for public view. the deal was brokered with several of us and the VP of Bank of Americas Foreign Exchange for the US. Here father ok’d it and he is on bofa board of directors in NC. bofa says we are on the clock right now with the treasury and them releasing it. we are told that the projected release is tomorrow

How long did it take to build the Federal Reserve System? Nineteen years. The various interests created and debated banking reform between the years 1894 and 1913. This is documented by Elmus Wicker in his little book The Great Debate on Banking Reform: Nelson Aldrich and the Origins of the Fed.

How long did it take to get Medicare passed? Twenty-eight years. Medicare proposals emanated from the bureaucracy, from the Public Health Service, and from the Social Security Administration as early as 1937–1950 before being picked up by the Truman Administration.

What’s the next Federal Reserve? What’s the next Medicare? It’s an international central bank: the IMF reborn. The IMF is the International Monetary Fund.

The creation process for this new Colossus has been going on now for eighteen years. The Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress has been considering studies and proposals since at least 1998. The catalyst was the 1997 Asian Crisis.

The interest groups and powers that create these institutions often pull and haul for years on end before the process culminates. They debate in plain view. Once key persons sign on and negotiate a specific form and proposal, the process comes to a conclusion. A new power structure is born.

The development of an institution with a central banking capacity to lend to sovereign states is at least as important as creating the Fed and Medicare were. It is a key building block in world government, and world government is extremely dangerous to freedom.

The IMF is a bank funded by States and patronized by States.

It gets its funds from contributing States.

It makes subprime sovereign loans to the world’s States. It “rescues” States in trouble. It makes bailouts.

The IMF’s initial charge, dating from 1945, was to stabilize fixed-exchange rates. When exchange rates mostly started to float in 1971 and after, the IMF changed course. It started to make loans to governments for other purposes.

The U.S. is the prime mover and controller of the IMF’s bailouts, loans, and rescues.

The world’s States cooperate, compete, and sometimes make war against each other.

In the modern age, their cooperation through such institutions as the United Nations and the IMF is a form of political cartelization. It enhances each State’s control over its own people. It removes the peoples of the world from the loop of power and control over their governments.

The IMF bails out profligate governments that are spending more than their taxes permit and that are running inflationary monetary policies. Just as bailouts and deposit guarantees of U.S. banks permit the banks to overextend loans, so does the IMF create moral hazard at the country level.

The “deep troubles” and “currency crises” and “banking crises” that the IMF patches up are wounds that countries inflict upon themselves by State control of economies. The IMF reinforces State economic control.

These crises are products of State control over economies and fiat currencies. They are products of central banks in conjunction with fractional-reserve banking systems.

The IMF supplies bandages. It tapes up the wounds so as to keep the overall State-controlled economies and fiat money system going.

When economic difficulties surface due to the State-controlled economies, they often show up in currency, banking, and balance of payments difficulties. Frequently, there is a flight of capital and asset prices decline. The IMF is an international reflation (inflation) institution. It can become the focal institution for arranging swap lines emanating from central banks or financial commitments emanating from State treasuries in order to shore up a country in trouble.

The IMF is an institution of the States, by the States, and for the States. As such, it is basically anti-people and anti-liberty.

At the latest G20 summit, the members moved forward to build up the IMF:

“The world’s top economic powers and the International Monetary Fund are studying creation of a global financial safety net that would give countries quick access to large amounts of cash as a way to stave off crises and discourage emerging-market nations from hoarding foreign reserves.

“In what would be a significant reordering of IMF operations, the proposals would change the agency from a solely reactive one – waiting for countries in trouble to ask for help – to a more activist organization that tries to anticipate where a crisis will spread and move in with enough money to calm markets and prevent broader problems.

“The idea may require a substantial increase in the amount of money that countries pledge to the IMF and a significant liberalization of its lending rules, potentially controversial changes.”

The fiat-money financial and banking system of the world, combined with the extensive control over economies of the world’s States, have run aground on a massive reef. The rescue efforts to move the ship off the reef have been going on for several years. Now government sovereign debt problems are coming to the fore.

The G20 is seeking a patch to keep the system running. It has been patching it up for years with Basle requirements and other measures. Enhancements to the IMF have been in the works for years. Now they are much closer to realization.

If the IMF and the States had their way, they would completely control exchange rates and interest rates. They would control capital markets. They would prevent investors from enforcing any kind of discipline on sovereign borrowing and government spending.

Add this alarm bell to a long list of others. Add this grievance to a long list of others. What do they add up to? They add up to the necessity for very great political change.

Large political change demands large changes in political ideas. What most people accept as a normal relation between the individual and government has to change if a dire totalitarian outcome is not to eventuate. Most people defer to government and accept government as their master. This has to change if civilization is to survive. There is simply no alternative but to go to minimalist government and/or self-government. Heart and soul, people have to repudiate the corporative fascist and socialist structures that now dominate their lives.

The established government structures grind on inexorably in directions that have been immune to deflection. There is no option to resisting these developments in toto if one is to avoid degrading slavery. They cannot be fought on a case-by-case basis. The system has to be shattered.

Okay, I’ve been working on this just about all day and here is what I was able to find out. If I get more information I will pass it along.
According to my dear friend who seemingly has been right on target each and every time, Biden is in Iraq for iplomatic purposes as well as some other small reasons.
Biden was of course primarily sent to Iraq to greet our servicemen for July 4th.
Yet, while he was there he did meet with Allawi and he is pressuring them to seat. The UN as well as the IMF is there monitoring EVERYTHING!
They are preparing to RV.
When?
My friend doesn’t know but he does know that there is a tremendous amount of movement and talks occurring over their economic stability, CBI’s accountability, Framework Agreements, Contracts, and oil production.
My friend is speculating that the IMF is “wishing” to bank on the IQD to stabilize the Euro debt relief, as well as help out some developing nations.
Of course, it would be nations such as ours who give loans to developing nations based off of the IQD return.
He stressed that while the IQD isn’t the answer to ALL the economic problems that exist, it certainly is a huge leap in the right direction in concern with correcting the current flow.
It is my OPINION, based on the info that I received that the IMF is wanting this to be history.   The IMF being in Iraq as we speak is a huge signal!

[Scooter] This one is critical to understand: remember CPI – Consumer Price Index

[Scooter] 21. The CBI will continue to be independent in the pursuit of its policy objectives. The CBI’s monetary and exchange rate policies will continue to be aimed at keeping inflation under control and safeguarding international reserves. The subdued inflationary pressures thus far in 2009 have helped to maintain the nominal exchange rate stable since the beginning of the year and to reduce the policy interest rate to 7 percent. The policy interest rate will be kept positive in real terms (measured against core inflation) to signal the CBI’s firm commitment to maintain a low rate of inflation. We are accelerating plans to roll out a new CPI based on more recent household expenditure data, which will help us better monitor underlying inflationary dynamics.

[Scooter] Why is that important — A new Consumer Price Basis is a HUGE component that will determine the rate — It’s the variable that will help the IMF and World Bank solve Iraq’s poverty problem.

[Scooter] Which is one of the five major Pillars of the DPL

[Scooter] Now we’ve seen this before but needs to be shown again from the IMF’s stand point.

[Scooter] The first important step will be to finalize the restructuring of Rafidain and Rasheed banks, based on their completed financial and operational audits. In this regard, the foreign liabilities incurred by Rafidain and Rasheed on behalf of the previous regime and the large suspense accounts will need be removed from these banks’ balance sheets. We aim to complete the restructuring of the balance sheets of Rafidain and Rasheed by June 30, 2010. Once their balance sheets are cleaned up and restructured, based on the decision already made by the Economic Committee, the capital of Rafidain and Rasheed will be raised to ID500 billion and ID400 billion, respectively

[Scooter] The banking system is dominated by two state-owned banks, Rafidain and Rasheed, which account for 90 percent of total assets. Besides four other small state-owned banks, there are 23 small private banks that service only a small number of trusted clients. Capital markets, besides government securities, are almost nonexistent.

[Scooter] Why is this important?

[Scooter] Because 90% of Iraq’s banking system is being “ReFormatted” to meet International standards — once they meet the standards — then they can move forward with RV.

[Scooter] Here’s another one

[Scooter] The financial restructuring will first involve cleaning up the banks’ balance sheets and removing the legacy of bad debts and suspense accounts and working out the fiscal implications. During a second phase, the banks’ capital will be brought up to the required levels.

[Scooter] I brought this up because I don’t want any confusion between the IMF phases and the World Bank Phases. We are now entering into the second phase for the IMF. Remember — Currency gets recognized and sized up (RV) first then the stocks, bonds, equities at the ISX.

* Enorrste “My take on where we are”: Currency Chatter 7/5/10

I am sure that most of you are deeply disappointed that no RV has yet taken place. You can rest assured that I am disappointed, as I’m also sure are Gankans and TerryK.

So what happened?

This short post is my best assessment of the situation as I see it. I will also give my prognosis as to where I think this is leading us.

We all have been led to believe that the RV would occur sometime over the weekend and that up to 19 currencies were also involved in this “great event”. We were also led to believe that this is a very important event in world economic history since there is clear evidence that the economy of the world is about to enter a “double dip” recession. We were further informed that China was in deep financial straights, as is also Japan, France, Britain, etc. We were informed that the European Community is on the verge of a meltdown due to these economic problems.

Under the circumstances, even though we at home know otherwise, it makes the USA picture look almost “rosey”!

So, with all of this worldwide pressure being dependent upon the “reboot” affect of the RVs of all of these currencies, why hasn’t it happened?

I believe that the US Administration is asking itself the same question right now. I say that because 3 senators and the Vice President have all gone to Iraq over this last weekend. Biden in particular has been doing “round robin” negotiations in an attempt to get the government of Iraq “off the ground.”

What is particularly interesting to me are a few key points. First, we see that Biden met with Maliki. This was obviously necessary as a “first step” since Maliki still runs the “interim government”.

However, Biden then had a private meeting with Allawi. What I found most interesting about this meeting were two small points. First, Biden suggested that a “hotline” be developed between Obama’s office and that of Allawi’s office. This is fascinating since no mention of such communications between Maliki and Obama was suggested. I seriously doubt that there is a hotline from Obama to Maliki at this point. Therefore it would appear that the Obama Administration is tipping its hand toward Allawi through this gesture.

The second point, however, makes us wonder what in the world the US is up to. Apparently Biden suggested to Allawi that “for the good of his country” he accept a Presidential position. This would apparently also mean that Maliki would remain PM under this scenario.

Now as I see this, given the two points just made above, it appears to me that the US Gov’t is now getting desperate, literally. We see no clear policy at all coming from the Obama people, but instead this “mixed signal” of offering a hotline on the one hand (an indication that Allawi would be leading the government) and then asking Allawi to accept a presidency on the other hand. This is confusing at best and seems to be say, “Just Do Something!” from the US point of view.

I find this very distressing, to say the least. It is one thing for the Iraqi’s to be strung up and at a standstill. It is another thing entirely for the Obama people to be sending panicked signals at the same time.

We apparently can also add another terrible signal from the US side: I read that Obama’s people said to some persons in Iraq that if they didn’t get this resolved by the end of August then the US would re-enter and take over the government! Of course the excuse was so that the troops could be removed, but it is idiotic on the very surface. What will we have then, a civilian American goverment in Iraq with no troops to back it up? Give me a break!

Finally, we can see that Al-Sistani is becoming more and more impatient as well. From what I read the National Alliance actually signed a document that stated that Al-Sistani could form the government himself if the secular people failed to get it done in a timely manner.

Here is what I believe will occur, and again I’ll give some tentative timelines to my views as well.

The constitution requires that the government be “formed” by the 14th of this month. I believe that we will see the outlines of a government finalized by the 10th of this month. I further believe that we will see Allawi as Prime Minister, Talabani as President of the Parliament, and two of the three remaining persons (Maliki, Jafaari, and Mahdi) holding the remaining two presidencies. It would not surprise me to see Maliki left out of the picture completely.

If, and this is a big if, Maliki is left out of the new government, then I believe Chapter 7 will be cleared almost immediately after the formation of the government. On the other hand, if Maliki obtains one of the remaining presidencies, I believe that Kuwait will resist an immediate release from Chapter 7. Of course in the final analysis, it is the UN and not Kuwait who has the say on this matter. I suspect that the UN is losing patience with Kuwait, just as it clearly has with Iraq.

We are then left with the question of where the RV fits into this scenario. The window of opportunity, as I see it, is now from the 10th to the 26th. The 26th is the date in the GE contracts and it has been stated that GE will not begin work without a valid currency in place.

I would love to see this all come together sooner rather than later, but I suspect it will go to the last minute, again. It would seem that Biden, McCain, Liberman, and Graham were not entirely successful, or at least not yet. Therefore I don’t see this getting resolved without more jawboning.

Let’s see, who is next? Ah, yes, Pope Benedict!. Don’t count on a visit from him, though. He will use his influence in more subtle ways.

Perhaps the hotline will prove affective, if it gets installed quickly. We all know how powerful Obama is in his speeches. Of course the “results” of his wonderful speaking ability have a lot to be desired. So don’t hold out a lot of hope from the US side, IMO.

This leaves us with Al-Sistani. I will predict that he will strongarm the key players to finalize a compromise in the next week, at the outside. My target date is the 10th. The RV can occur any time after the announcement of the finalized key players.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Thanks Enorrste again. For those of us in this FIVE to SIX years now, nothing surprises us anymore. For almost six years now, I have heard MORE than many, yet no RV. Every week becomes a new other week, and every month becomes a new another month, and every year passes by. FACT, Iraq is not a democracy, it is run by sectarian divided men who have fought each other for 1200 years. The corruption runs so deep, and IF Maliki remains, and this would cause NO CH. 7 removal, THEN what in the world is Iraq waiting for? KICK THIS joker out, he LOST the election, LOST the recount, and PURE POLITICS will again, rule. We are now one week into July and SOON we will hear August, then in August we will hear Sept. and another year will pass. WHATEVER happened to the so called POSTS we heard for months where the IMF was involved, ticked off, wanted their payments (which were due in April) and were going to pull the trigger?? FACT, IF THIS RV, is going to be the economic savior of the currencies of the world, WHY is the IMF NOT running the show? HMM?? Does anyone really know anything?? After all, Iraq does not even know what THEY are doing. I keep holding on by faith, but this will take a miracle

Fortunately I have not been in this for 5 or 6 years, yet. However, I share the frustration that you are expressing and suspect that most on the forum do as well. You are quite correct in your statement regarding the reality that this is an inter-familial fude that has gone on for nearly 1200 years (or longer, for that matter). You are also correct, IMO, that Maliki should be shown the door. As I said, I suspect that may happen, but this guy has very long finger nails and seems to be able to “hang on a wire” like that infamous cat poster we’ve all seen.

Regarding the IMF, I personally believe that the power of the IMF lies in persuasion and not direct action. In fact, I think that if they COULD force the RV they would have done so by now. But the IMF doesn’t work that way. They nudge and urge, but usually wait expectantly as we do for the ultimate action. We can take some solace in the knowledge that they are at least into the nudge phase by now, as it the US gov’t and, apparently, the Chinese gov’t. Having said that I am fairly confident that this event will occur this month. The economic situation almost demands it.

What really agrivates [sp.] me is the fact that Obama send his “big guns” to Iraq only to have them come home empty handed, again! When will this man realize that he doesn’t understand diplomacy, or politics, or economics? Enough on that!

I’m still cautiously hopeful, and hope that you are too. Faith is a wonderful thing, and I’m glad that you have it. However, this won’t take a miracle: it will only take will power,.

Just watched Fox News with Bret Baier and Juan Williams and Krauthammer (sp?)….  talked at length about the Biden visit and the establishment (or not) of a new government.  Not a single word about their currency.  Any thoughts?

I learned some time ago that the RV of the IQD was going to be one of the best kept secrets in the world.  It had to be that way, incidentally.  Otherwise the speculators would have already accomplished what Shabibi has not done himself.  This is simple economics.  The currency barely qualifies for toilet paper in a country sitting on the second largest reserves in the world of oil.  Think about that a moment…….

Now, the reality is that the “secret” has been leaked several times.  Jim Cramer almost let the cat out of the bag late last year.  He was summarily squelched by his own network!  Since then we are seeing more and more cracks in the “secret jar of the RV” and it is now only a matter of time before the RV MUST be done.  At the same time, we will hear more about the “investment scam” of the RV of the IQD and how it is a “fool’s game” to play it.

However, and with due respect, I suggest that we dismiss the naysayers and move forward with optimism.  This WILL happen!

* Biden: U.S. won’t abandon Iraq

July 5 (UPI) — The United States is committed to a long-term partnership with Iraq and won’t abandon the country once combat troops leave, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said.

“We’re not disengaging from Iraq. The nature of our engagement is changing,” an unidentified senior administration official in Baghdad said Sunday in a briefing about Biden’s discussions with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Iyad Allawi, a former prime minister who was elected in March to replace Maliki.

The U.S. combat mission is scheduled to end Aug. 31 but 50,000 troops will remain, the official said.
“We’re moving from a military lead to a civilian lead,” he said. “As we draw down the military force, we’re ramping up our diplomatic, political and economic engagement. And we’re working hard to bring to life the strategic framework agreement signed between our governments.”

Biden also spoke about the formation of a coalition government, which hasn’t been done yet.
“He made it very clear that we have no candidates, we have no preferred outcomes, we have no plan,” the official said.

The United States, however, doesn’t want outside influences playing a role in forming a new government, the official said. U.S. leaders also believe the Iraqi people “would like to see an inclusive government and so would we, because that is the path to stability and progress in Iraq … .”

The unnamed official said Biden expressed hope that ministries are run by competent, effective people.

Biden was in “listening mode” during his one-on-one meetings with Maliki and Allawi “trying to learn from the Iraqis how they saw this (development of a new government) playing out,” the senior official said.

While not offering a time frame, the official said Biden is “confident the Iraqis will get the job done.”
